002 TWL Newsletter: What Are Your Dreams?

What Are Your Dreams?

[updated video link ✌🏼]

Hello dear friends! How are you?

Last month on this same day I sent my first ever newsletter.

I was happy and excited about the idea of nourishing relationships amongst my friends and having a community of lovers, optimists, deep thinkers and creatives. Needless to say, I was pumped to create more!

I then set a goal to publish three blogs and three newsletters a month or once a week. I told myself that I should be actively posting on my socials.

Was I able to complete the goal?

Honestly, no.

I was only able to publish two blogs and one newsletter for the month of November. I haven’t posted on my socials for a while.

I was paralyzed by the frustration of how slow my writing process was. Many times, I doubt if I am really heading on to something I thought was beautiful. What am I even doing?

I recently finished reading β€˜The Alchemist’ by Paulo Coelho. Like the protagonist (a shepherd fighting his way to conclude his dreams) that follows all the good omens sent his way, I felt like this book was my own good omen that came to me at the right time.

Plus this photo from Mounika.

And this video from Alex Hormozi.

These are the most recent pushes I received in these moments of my lonely chapter.

When I asked myself, why am I even in a situation where I am fated to follow my dreams? Well. I am here because my heart tells me to. And I chose to listen to it. I might confuse myself daily, but I would remember that it was I who let my heart guide my way.

Do you have dreams?
When was the last time you followed a dream?

In any case you need to hear this too, I want you to know that our hearts will never stop repeating these personal legends for a reason. No matter how the busyness and practicality of life bury our dreams at the inner abyss of our soul, in one way or another our personal legends will remind us that they are alive and they are there.

Self-doubt and the constant questioning of our whys is real. But here I am, wanting you to also not give up on your dreams. Let me know what you think.

Hoping for a life well-lived (for all of us),

Rowena Jane
